As a Korean girl who's been skinny her whole life, I've noticed that body positivity is constantly a moving target, probably more so in the US than in the east. I could fit the "heroin chic" look of the 90s, but I can't fit into what's considered beautiful in America now which is "thicc"- large butts and breasts with an itty bitty waist. I imagine this will fall out of style and we'll find a new standard of beauty in a decade's time. And because this is the case, I've stopped caring what standard of beauty is "in" because it changes too much to constantly chase it. It's been freeing.
